Niki is now cycling!
Many many moons ago we bought our little daughter who was then about 2; a yellow tricycle; it looks like an easy enough toy; coz well you just cycle or experiment until you get it right. See, the thing is Niki is not too worried about cycling the "right" way, she's quite happy using her legs to move the tricycle or lets her bear bear sit on it while she pushes it, and as the doting and supportive parents that we are (ahem!) we just gave her encouragement to do what she feels comfortable doing.
Then suddenly about 4 days ago, she took out the old yellow tricycle again, which has been untouched since she was 2+ and started paddling it right. We were enraptured and we were overjoyed! It was unbelievable, our daughter can now cycle..and then..as if we were not impressed enough the next evening she took out her training bike that her tata got for her for her third birthday and started cycling it properly ..at long last!!
This deserves a big woop .. so WOOPIE!
We just wanted to share this happy news with everyone!
