..to buy a The Curse of the Black Pearl dvd, Johnny Depp is simply delish, so we watched it on Saturday, Vicky said that the next time we're going to see a sequel we should see the original film first so that we have "continuation"!..so now I have continuation!!

.. and one thing yeah, Geoffrey Rush has a lot of blemish, shiver me timbers!

Bureaucracy Sucks

The state of our govt's affairs and ruling truly sucks!

I just have to rant abit to cool my system.

Vicky just told me something, and it's totally unfair,

and so our govt won another battle to crap on us citizens

A Pop-Up tent for Niki

..I started using my current credit card since 2002. I have only one credit card believe me or not (since most ppl think I'm a shopaholic with absolutely no willpower nor self-control). But I have only 1, and since 2002 I've only accumulated twentyfivethousandpoints. That's reasonable right? I have acquaintances that can actually redeem an Osim massage chair using their credit card points alone! So I have these points and I was itching to redeem something, the current promo ends on 31st July, so I chose what I wanted from the pamphlet and faxed in my redemption form,

And so, I got ..

1) A Pop-Up Children's tent for Niki

2) A Alarm Clock Radio thingy for our nightstand (no more using my handphone as alarm, no more radioactive killer frequency waves flowing into my head!! Yippeee)

Can't wait to see Niki's face when I open it for her, I hope they have stock tho first, *fingers crossed*

What goes on, on a Wednesday!

What do I have to do today, hang with Niki that's what, so took a few random shots of us in bed, doing nothing, absolutely nothing, it was fab! Here's Niki lounging around, she does it perfectly coz it's genetically in-built, passed on to her from her dad, who's brushing his teeth and talking thru the foam!! eekkk!

Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest (literally!!)

Caught POTC, like finally! Johnny Depp omg! he's really born for the role of Capt Jack Sparrow, a joy to watch, we bought the lurrrvvee seats coz it's the only decent ones in the house and we didn't mind forking out an extra RM4 for it, nothing is gonna stop me from getting an awesome view of Johnny Depp from every angle! And yeah, the seats were cosy & made for love, had a fun time cuddling up with Vicky and acted like 16-year olds, teeheehee..

The Cabana

After watching the movie headed to The Cabana for a night cap, had rum.. well the pirates were guzzling it thru the movie and so I had to have it too, talk about easily swayed by ads and product placements, Vicky had Heineken, there was a cool ad on Heineken too before the movie, guess the subliminal message got to him too..

After 1, and officially Thursday

Finally got home and passed out from exhaustion!

But it was a super fun day.

On top of that *inside joke* tra-la-la it's finally ours baby!!!! Baby, u r absolutely wonderful!

Niki & McD's chocolate cone

Like most parents I have come to believe that McDonald's has one of the strongest ad campaign ever! Coz as little as Niki is she instantly recognizes McD's and gets really excited. She loves the fries and the chocolate cone (actually we both like the latter), coz both of us have such warm affection for the cone and despite the fact theat both of us has the sniffles I bought her a cone yesterday evening & we shared it!!

And so my baby really dirtied herself in the process of consuming the yummy dessert, but had a wonderful time at it.

So all of us plodded home and watched tv while eating McD's - caught a movie "The Benchwarmers" it was hilarious like all Rob Schneider movies and settled down to watch Ms Puerto Rico Zuleyka Rivera Mendoza win the Miss Universe 2006 title, we were rooting for her but I noticed how her hair was slicked back like she was ready for the crown during the evening wear, whatev, but she wore a gorgeous dress made out of metal chains, outstanding .. Wow!

Niki's First Tumble

.. major tumble that is accompanied by a scrapped knee, we knew it was just a matter of time, and our Niki walks kind of wonkily most times, so it was seriously just a matter of time.. she was out on her evening walk Friday, and she fell frontwards, there was a moment of silence until she screamed on top of her lungs & really bawled..

..my heart goes out to the tot but I know that this will be a first and that she'll have more tumbles when ..

1) she learns to cycle

2) she learns to blade

3) she learns to run

I applied savlon and kissed her injured knee and was feeling better after a while, my Niki has grown up..

Saturday's Lightning Awareness & Safety Workshop

So I was yet again pulled in to mc a lightning safety workshop for school children and senior citizens last saturday, felt horrid I had to get to up early & leave both my honeys in bed. But *pppfftt* it's for a good cause so I sort of happily went about it. It was held at the MPSJ auditorium & I spoke aimlessly for a bit before warming up. No food so brain didn't work properly plus it was way too early. The workshop was fun tho, the kids asked a lot of questions & looked really intrigued, any of u wanna take my place in the office , call me!

A mini Keyboard for Niki

I got this colourful leet keyboard for Niki recently and she loves it! Could she be a concerto pianist in the making? We'll have to wait & see. Yesterday night we attended the Rotary fellowship dinner and Niki had the chance to sit by a piano which the host's daughter was playing on, thanks Melissa for showing Niki the ropes and Niki, even if she was playing piano gibberish held her own pretty well complimenting Melissa's higher notes with her own lower notes. So cute can pengsan dot com.

"Tai Chow" @ Poh Yap

..another post about food! but of course!! love food,

feeling happy 'coz just had unagi for lunch, yum!!

so back to the post, a couple of nites ago we went out for tai chow near our home;

tai chow if translated directly is big fry, it means that once you've ordered your food which usually consists of rice with a few dishes, they fry it there and then for you, so when the food arrives it's still super hot.

I love the fish fillet in curry paste and leaves, yum
and this place has one of the most kow-a-bunga kopi peng ever!

Aunty Daphne & I had the kopi peng and then got a really nice caffeine high :-)

Niki and her Daddy shared a glass of barley which Niki helped spice up with her rice and meehoon. Still both of them finished the drink O_0

It's gonna be a slow day today

..and I forgot to bring my mobile, so have been left to post without pics that I took yesterday evening while out for dinner at this "tai chow" place near our home. So gonna do some random words only post to satisfy my blog addiction.

..and yeah I hate work today, the bl***dy network administrator copped an mc today and I need to take care of the server stuff plus her daily roboty work stuff like sorting faxes, etc. I sort of sound bitchy right, that's because I hate doing routine-y stuffs *gawd*

So to put my mind off these mundane stuffs I only have to look no further than Clientcopia : Stupid Client Quotes for a cure.
