Niki Loves BKT

We were heading out to dinner last evening, and had a sudden craving for BKT, went to our regular joint and it was closed, so spun around and found another BKT shop in KK called Ah Toa Seafood BKT and we were like ok, why not we give it a try, it was nice and the soup was herbally but not as good as our regular shop.

So we settled in and ordered a single helping of normal BKT with ribs and lean meat & Vicky ordered "Chu Kiok Choe" which is translated as Pork Leg in Vinegar, sounds gross but tastes good lah, as do most Malaysian food. One thing special tho they not only offer white rice but also oily rice & yam rice (the yam rice was yum)

The one thing is our Niki loves BKT, how many kids her age can actually even like the smell, I remember hating it as a kid, and I didn't touch BKT until I was well into adulthood. But Niki just loves it, she loves mixing her rice with the soup and she'll polish off half a bowl of rice like that. So I reckon she's special or she's just really chee-na one but it's all good and we love her just the way she is BKT, Chinese Tea and all! xoxo
