So yesterday I dressed Niki in a yellow sam-fu and took her out for dinner at a new kopitiam that has just opened in KK called Kheng's Kopitiam, it has a similar concept to Uncle Lim’s, Old Time, Kluang Kopitiam types offering coffee, tea, cham, toasted kaya bread, curry laksa, lam mee etc.
Ok we waited like 15 mins for the food which I think is slightly too long but since it’s opening day I guess they can be excused for that right, but the thing is the food kinda sucked. Aunty Daphne ordered Fried Rice and it tasted blah! I ordered Emperor’s Noodle and Indomee made at home without any extra ingredients tastes better. But the drinks were ok lah, Vicky wanted ice-blended but the machine was broken?!!? So settled for a cham (mixture of coffee & tea with ideal milk)
But Niki enjoyed herself as usual, she obviously liked the Emperor’s noodles since it’s “kon lo” style and the place was lined with mirrors so Ms Vanity truly has a great time. xoxo
