Superman Lives!

Hah! Saw Superman Returns yesterday, I must say I'm a tad disappointed maybe that's because I expected a bit too much, the original Superman quadlogy is still the best or maybe I'm a sentimental person and can't bear to have another person fill the boots the late Christopher Reeve left behind.

The movie was ok, just ok. It started off great with John William's Superman theme blazing across the screen everytime the music comes on I feel a certain aweness, it was Superman for pete's sake. I wished that Brandon Routh would have kicked more ass though, that was lacking a bit but Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor and Parkey Posey as Kitty Kowslowski was classic I loved them they basicly stole the show everytime they were on screen! It was hilarious and their comic timing were perfect!

Dinner before the movie was great tho', Vicky & I went to the Sports Cafe and had a whole lot of food, the beef nachos were delish! So was my Sausage Cancarne, yum! So food & company was the highlight of my evening but it was overall a wonderful evening! Love you Honey! xxooxx

Superman Returns @ Midvalley

Is it a bird, is it a plane, no it's Superman!

Yup going to go watch Superman Returns later this evening! It's the first day, can't wait, the anticipation!! Supes, my fave superhero of all time, why because he's the first costumed superhero and most of all he gives his fans hope!

Is Niki Speaking Manglish or Tamglish?

Niki is at a "Learning How To Talk" stage.

She'll look you straight in the eye and babble a string of 8-10 clear, distinct words in English/Manglishy (Malaysian English)/Tamlishy (Tamil English), with impressive inflection, "Pulehu Pottee Pelerky Manee Malee La Le Lah and ends with hmmpph?"

And most times, Vicky and I have giggling fits and speak back to her in a similar manner.
In English, however, she can only say, (starting with her first word) : Bubye, Uh-oh, Hello, Yes, Chicken, Fish, Claudine, Vicky, Hot, Dadda, Ma and her name, Nikita

She can nod yes but its usually no, and now can POINT to what she wants. Which has made things SO much easier. She can follow simple instructions. Dance on command. Anticipate regular house practices - when she wants to go for a walk she'll head to the shoe drawer and demand that I take her slippers out and put it on for her & take her out. She can brush her teeth as we do every morning, she recently got her first pink Mickey toothbrush!

At one point or another I shall take a photo of all her clothes that are never worn coz Mommy is a shopaholic!

And me and Vicky absolutely adore her hair, its soft, wavy & jet-black! We're waiting for it to grow longer and then we can tie braids, or style it up abit, or maybe punk it up a bit heheheh!

Here's some photos of our weekend getaway to Rawa!

Rawa Island! Paradise!

Vicky & I went to Rawa Island last, last weekend with Vicky's company
(it's a family getaway kinda thing org by his software firm). We
were there with our friends Lynnsay & Manoj.

It was great except for one small bit that I shall not
elaborate let's just say that I did not get to sleep a
wink on the first nite! Horrid! Changed room the second nite
to a seafront bungalow & all was good.

But apart from that the Island itself was paradise, you've got
to be there to see it & experience it! No amount of writing or
words can describe it.

I must say I was a bit hesitant at first coz I saw how
basic the accommodations were but once I was there
I was in love!

We snorkelled, kayaked, and just relaxed with a book
through out! It was so refreshing we just relaxed!
Food was great too, one night they cooked the fish
that one of the resort's guest caught while out fishing
and all of us got to enjoy it! It was YUM!!

We dived off the jetty, we swam with the fishes, fed the fishes,
got tickled by the fishes, heehee .. we enjoyed ourselves to
bits and at night we just relaxed at the beach cafe with
drinks and played loads of drinking games like Superheroes,
Seven, I Never.. & Fuzzy Duck! Hah the last one was fun!

Mommy & Daddy had fun! And we're gonna all go back there
soon baby!

I've should've started this blog much earlier but

I have been procrastinating, so my precious if you are reading this, mommy's really sorry but here you are, the blog about fab you that your daddy and me will be updating from this day forth!
